Song: I'll Sing

Description: This is a worship song I wrote about the things I'm dealing with right now. It's about praising God when you don't feel like it, and singing to God even when you screw up the songs, because it's not about the music. It's a prayer to thank God for his mercy and grace. I think most worship leaders can relate to the lines "Though no one sings along, and though I may sing it all wrong".
Lyrics:
I am so depraved
but my God has called me by name
and who am I to say He's wrong?
Some days I feel like I
bring only tears to His eyes, but still
He wants to hear my every song.
And though no one sings along
and though I may sing it all wrong
I'll lift my voice to sing His praise
I'll sing to Him all of my days, because
My God has rescued me again
Not only saved me from my sin
But He has blessed me with His grace
Yes, me, a man of this fallen race.
Though I deserve a fate much worse
And I am fighting back this curse
I'll sing to God while on my face
To Him I'll never stop my praise
I am a child of His
I know my purpose is
to bless Him every day I live
So let me lift my voice
And in these words rejoice
I'm saved, and this is not my home
And though no one sings along
and though I may sing it all wrong
I'll lift my voice to sing His praise
I'll sing to Him all of my days, because
My God has rescued me again
Not only saved me from my sin
But He has blessed me with His grace
Yes, me, a man of this fallen race.
Though I deserve a fate much worse
And I am fighting back this curse
I'll sing to God while on my face
To Him I'll never stop my praise
My God has rescued me again
Not only saved me from my sin
But He has blessed me with His grace
Yes, me, a man of this fallen race.
Though I deserve a fate much worse
And I am fighting back this curse
I'll sing to God while on my face
To Him I'll never stop my praise
