New Song - Hold On

I haven't recorded all of the songs for this album... I think I have five or six written... anyway... I wrote this one just now and I thought I'd upload it. It's called "Hold On". Check it out here: Hold On. I wrote it for my best friend.

New Album - Lonely Road

I'm starting a new album, and I wrote a new song tonight. It's called "Melody of Tears". Check it out here: Melody of Tears. It's really important to me. I wrote it in a couple of hours, and added the bridge right at the end.... anyway, like most my songs, this one was recorded with the built-in microphone in my laptop. I have a Shure SM-81 in the mail... so hopefully the recordings will sound better soon.

Album Posted - Hopeful Romantic

I posted my first album for people to listen to. It's called Hopeful Romantic. All the songs were recorded through my laptop's built-in microphone. There are 9 worship and love songs. I might add a couple more, but this is it for now. Click the Music Tab to see the album.

New Site Design

darinhoover.com is no longer just a blog. I still have some work to do as far as the back-end for this website, but in the meantime, I'll be posting static news updates. The layout and design of this site is a template that I'm using under the Creative Commons License. I don't take credit for any of the images, or pretty much any of the layout for the site. I found the template at http://www.styleshout.com.

I will be posting songs that I've written and recorded on here, as well as some poetry. I don't think I have any drawings or paintings that I want to show yet. The purpose of this site is simply for me to share what I've created with the world. That's pretty much it.
